WELL DONE GUYS!!

you don't noe how proud i am of all of you..
like just during the start of the year, some of us believed we could do well, others didn't think so much that, and like we were still a bit complacent and all. It was only during the band camp in march hols that we found out " hey omg.. we suck " and we were really giving up all hope of getting wateva. In fact joel lee was probably one of the most ahem.... tsk tsk .. nvm. And like we had so many prep - talk sessions buy either Janan Lim or a teacher or a senior admin.. Some did inspire us (a little), others just made us feel more like joel lee.

After school started again, we had Intensive training practise everyday starting from 12.40 pm (some of u ponners 12.00) to like 6.00 pm with Dr Lee, oops i forgot PROFESSOR. yup it really was quite tiring having our lips to suffer for many hours ever day, but with PROFESSOR Lee's teachings, we did improve - ALOT! and were much more motivated. Im not saying that Mr Francis Tan was not good enough - no definately not - just that u have to agree that Prof Lee has more experience in this. Mr Francis Tan too was a key point in our success - for one he's our conductor lol... but he too really inspired us to push ourselves just abit more every day to really give our best. So yar, we improved like crazy (though still not enough at that point in time) during the first practises. then for some reason we moved to AUDI 2 which kinda REALLY sucks. Well of course its not just the hall but regardless of what people say.. it did have a heavy impact on us. And after that, our practises got a whole lot worse. All that we practised for seemed to be lost ...especially intonation : (

However, we still tried our best - good job guys - and really just played our hearts out nad yar, before we knew the 31st of march had arrived.

I can still remember the immense pressure and anxiety we had at SCH. On one hand we were sweating thx to our BLAZERS and all that crappy not to mention thick unifrom and on the other hand we were shivering thx to the cold aircon (which made us go sharp) and the nervousness we had. i also want to thank all our seniors (and juniors) who came to support us! i hated the feeling of sitting next to the other schools before the performance.. its like looking at ur enemy before a war.

During the actual war, we were all really scared. i was lost to be frank after getting on stage this time seeing the judges for the first time (except for one special judge ).. Despite all this we played and really gave it our best. there were some squeeks unfortunately (really sorry on behalf of the calrinet section) and some intonation probs here and there.. but none the less, i feel it was a good performance. when they anounced the results i was practically shaking like a LEAF. " Band number 35 - anglo chinese school independent................................... ......................................GOLD........with HONOURS!! " WOW that feeling was really great! by GOD's grace we really did get GWH!! We even sang the school athem lol after that.

ANYWAY yup we ave changes our blogskin so there is nothing you can do about it : P
also, there is only like one more week plus from SYF so guys make sure you practise hard, as hard as hell.
for the sec 3 and 4s, make sure you practise hard and do our seniors before us proud.. think about it, it has been at least 6 years worth of hardwork from our forefathers to get gold with honours (that's as long as ronald lai in band). we can't let them down!

as for those lucky fortunate sec 1 and 2s chosen to join us, pls pls PLS work hard.. harder than hard. at least harder than us sec 3 and 4s.. but really do not let people look down on you just because u guys are smaller.. just look at me!! and i rawk and im considered small... Just joking.. yup so pls bear in mind what i said. But whateva you do, dont screw up our SYF - its our year.. u guys be thankful u get the chance.

Last but not least, please go left and right up and down and admire our be - a -u - ti - ful skin..

Ok this post is different from the one at my wp blog. So do read it if you want a headache.

What a waste of a perfect 4 hours of my life ): At least I didn't waste my energy running for some useless school [sic](QUOTED.) Ah well. Slacked away and talked to mrkoh (geog teacher, but i dont take geog, useless subject) about random stuff. Haha maybe i shouldn't post it here. Later kena fired (JOKING OK.)

Ah well. Played with peoples' iPhones, mp4s, slacked away with free milo 8)

Taxi-ed to school with Joel lee, jonathan tang, marcus. Waited like an hour for the bloody cab! And kaiting like got her cab within 10 mins? Grr.

Went brasbasah cmplx with kaisen, shop(shut up i know its gay)ed and did alot of stupid things (: That stupid place is like filled with music shops la! Damn awesome! Saw some random one valved fanfare bugle! I want! (:

Went home, kaisen went for medical thing. Lol.

Ran a 6km run in the drizzle to compensate for the cross country run (or lack thereof).

today was the 25 of February 09

today was really interesting

February the 25th was really interesting

YES! Today was so fun.. First the cross-country duty which i, as a new prefect had to go down for. I was with joel lee.. doing the prize presentation duty! after that it was more or less slack time for us : D Shhh... just joking lol. Anyway, while joel and i (weird.. why am i mentioning myself two times?) were doing our ever tiring duty (tsk tsk..), we met so many people!

this is the order of the people we met : )
1. Jeremy Ong - mae president of CFC prefects
2. Chew tai sun - someyear 4 guy who reminds me of ho kah wei : )
3. joel tan - a year 2 prefect.. lol why are there soo many joels??
4. nicole poh - she was like " joel, ur a prefect? oh i didn't noe!" sigh an outdated person.. joking!(:
5. kah wei himself - he disagreed that he looks like chew tai sun for obvious reasons
6. amos chen - he was talking to ismail
7. ismail - he was talking to amos chen
8. Isaac lee jie hao - oh yes he wants to be an astronaut! thats why he went to a Nasa spacecamp!

CHEERING TENNIS B FINALS

i was down, again.
and i learn so many new things today!! ^_^
i learnt that cheering is really really REALLY fun
i learnt how to fit not just one but Two school flags in a taxi
i learnt that Victoria School has kewl cheers
i learnt that you can't play tennis when it rains
i learnt that strepsils dont work!!

Overall it was really a good experience. i have learnt that unity and communication as well as passion is of utmost importance in activities such as cheering. today was trully a success and it will be something i will always remember in my 14 coming 15 years of life. To God Be The Glory And The Best Is Yet To Be..

Okay.. the only reason why im posting during this exam-filled period is simply because, ian and apparently everyone else complained that i typed too little lol. Talking about exams, i am probably.. no, most likely.. no, definitely going to do badly.

3- Christian Fellowship all of u guys (and maybe gurls?) who are interested, please dont be afraid to approach me.. and Mr Azmi ( not Azarmi)
4- ANGLO CHINESE PREFECTORIAL BOARD yup i believe all u guys know that one for sure.. If u dont, u are coloured blind : )

So you see.. If ur from band, dont blame prefects alone for my absence.. If ur from prefects (i hope none of u are reading this), dont blame it on band; besides.. Clifton's from band :D
And if ur from MPac (the media one), well i guess u can blame me for ponning.. abit..

I really wonder if i should run for x-country this 25th. I've been lately really out of shape, now i'm so fat ): agr. I had only 3-4 5km runs this whole year. Should go see how those canoeist hardcore workout O: Looking at the ruggers, joshua chan, goodness. I won't even get top 20. MY screwed up stamina always fails me.

HEYY JOEL OR JANAN OR WHOEVER IS CONCERNED! If you're looking here, YAY! Well. These are my designs for the time being. I can churn out others with minor changes or anything, but currently I have exhausted my resources. SOO. I really do think Black/Navy Blue would be a good shirt color, with Orange/Yellow as text. But that would make it look IB and it stinks. So color choice up to you guys. If you even are reading this.

On another note (pun unintended), On the back of the second design where the crest is, I actually wanted the coolio white AC dragon-cum-eagle-cum-lion-cum-scaly-object there. Unable to find it, I substituted for plain 'ol AC crest. If anyone of you finds it, tag and plsplspls email it to me (the gif or jpeg image) & i'll be eternally grateful. (:

Gah. Oh gosh! I'm so super drained!

Very long day ah. Got like what - Exam, then IC registration, then practical, then CIP, then BAND. Gosh gosh gosh.

The exam was so damnnnn scary! I didn't know how to answer certain questions and stuff. The stupid questions were so vague! ): stupid setter. I had to bullshit and stuff. I hope I'll score la.

History results out! 14/18! Gosh. So terrible. Need to mug more I thinks..

IC registration was just so plain dumb, and I don't want to say what happened.

Pratical was awful. Mr Foo (why was he there!) kept scolding random people (including me!) for no reason! Like what the heck. I got scolded for putting my hands behind the table. So unreasonable ):

CIP was dumb. Very dumb. David, raphael, noel and nabil were grouped to dig out yams in bukit timah hill. wth. It was quite fun anyway. Like chopping down any tree we felt like chopping and stuff. Good stress relief (:

See la. I so hardworking and passionate. After CIP damn tired still go band. Aiyah. I said I was a model student right.

I hate PE! Like I ran 5.4km yesterday, then today kena forced to run another 2.4km! WHAAt. Wheew.

Been trying so hard to revamp my life out, spent the whole of the holidays working stuff out, praying incessantly and reflecting. Growing up never was this difficult. ):
But well, tried very, very hard, and though I'm still random and stuff, I'm thankful that God really sorted my mess in my life (: Even though you still see me screaming around the corridors or flapping my arms or talking to strangers, I guess its my way of dealing with my emotional stress, and I hope you understand and do try to stop me if I go overboard.
And if I had in any way offended or hurt anyone of you dudes in anything I did, I'm so, so, tremendously sorry. And when I was racist, I have made it a point to not do it point blank and I have tried to curb it.

Well, enough said.
I do think (from my rather skewed perspective) that I have changed a lot, well. Up to you guys really. (:
